Supporting pathways for women in electrical trades

This work forms part of Future Energy Skills' federally funded Building Women's Careers project, Powering Women Into Clean Energy Apprenticeships which is focused on building better, more inclusive pathways for women to enter and thrive in electrotechnology and clean energy careers. 

As part of the initiative, Lani the Sparky is being featured in a video that shares Lani’s personal story and journey into the electrical industry. The video aims to inspire others by showing that there are many different pathways into the trades and that successful careers can be built through determination, support and practical experience.

From sole trader to growing team. What began as a sole trader business has grown into a diverse and skilled team of electricians servicing homes and businesses across Melbourne.

This growth reflects Lani’s vision to create a business that values professionalism, inclusion and opportunity.
